WHO I AM

 My Name is Libby. I started this blog at age 23.
  
I've fought very hard against depression since I was a little kid and I know I am not alone in this. 


I'm on a mission now to endure a 5 week treatment for my chronic depression.
A year ago I was hospitalized for my mental illness and I thought my only option left was ECT, which terrified me. But I was willing to try anything. 

I learned about TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) in one of my psychology classes and thought I wouldn't see it be covered by insurance until I was in my 40s. 
But I was lucky enough to get it covered. 
So now I am starting my journey.
